What brings families in

Care for the things life puts on your spine.

Most people who walk through our door aren't lifelong chiropractic patients. They're expecting moms, new parents, desk workers, weekend athletes, and folks recovering from a fender-bender on Dale Mabry. Here's what we help with most.

No. 01

Pregnancy discomfort

Low-back, hip, and pelvic relief through every trimester using the gentle, experienced prenatal approach.

No. 02

Babies & newborns

Feather-light care for the early weeks — supporting comfort, feeding, and restful sleep with the softest possible touch.

No. 03

Children & teens

Age-appropriate adjustments for growing bodies, sports stress, posture, and the wear of heavy backpacks and screens.

No. 04

Lower back pain

From sit-all-day stiffness to acute flare-ups. Most patients feel meaningful change within the first few visits.

No. 05

Neck pain & posture

Forward-head "tech neck," tension, and stiffness — often paired with shoulder tightness and headaches.

No. 06

Headaches & migraine

Tension and cervicogenic headaches respond well to upper-neck work and gentle soft-tissue release.

No. 07

Sciatica & nerve pain

Radiating leg pain, numbness, or tingling — addressed with adjustments and flexion-distraction care.

No. 08

Auto-accident recovery

Thorough documentation and a clear recovery plan after a car accident — billed to your auto insurance (PIP).

No. 09

Sports & active strain

For runners, lifters, and weekend warriors — keeping joints moving and tissue recovering between sessions.

No. 10

Stress & tension

The shoulders-up-by-your-ears kind of tension that builds through a long week. We help your nervous system downshift.

No. 11

Postpartum recovery

Gentle realignment and support for the fourth trimester, as your body settles back after birth.

No. 12

Wellness & maintenance

Once you feel good, simple check-ins keep you there. Affordable wellness plans for the whole family.

Our techniques

Gentle hands first.
The right tool, every time.

Every patient gets a real exam, real listening, and a plan built for their body. These are the techniques we draw from once we understand what's actually going on.

Technique · 01

Specific spinal & extremity adjustments

Precise, controlled movements that restore motion and ease nerve irritation — from the spine to wrists, shoulders, hips, and ankles. We match the force to the patient, never the other way around.

Technique · 02

Webster Technique (prenatal)

An experienced-recognized, pregnancy-specific approach that balances the pelvis and surrounding ligaments to support comfort and room for baby through every trimester.

Technique · 03

SOT & Pediatric SOT

Sacro-Occipital Technique uses gentle blocking and low-force corrections — ideal for sensitive cases, postpartum bodies, and our youngest patients.

Technique · 04

Cranial Sacral Fascial Therapy

A light-touch therapy releasing tension through the head, spine, and fascia. Calming for adults and especially gentle for babies and children.

Technique · 05

Trigger-point & soft-tissue therapy

Targeted release of tight, knotted muscle that gets deeper than a thumb comfortably can — used to prep tissue before adjusting and to relieve everyday tension.

Technique · 06

Flexion-distraction & traction

Comfortable, table-assisted decompression that gently opens space for compressed discs and nerves in the low back and neck.

Technique · 07

EMS & ultrasound therapy

Muscle stimulation and therapeutic ultrasound to calm inflammation and support healing in irritated muscles and joints — layered on top of hands-on care.

"We want to be the practice your whole family trusts — and we'll always tell you the truth about what you actually need."

— Dr. W. Gregory Capps, D.C.

Common questions

What new families ask us first.

If your question isn't here, just call — we'd rather answer it now than have you wonder.

Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?

Yes. Prenatal care is one of our specialties — our team is experienced, using gentle, pregnancy-specific techniques and supportive positioning to ease low-back, hip, and pelvic discomfort through every trimester.

Do you really adjust babies and children?

We do, and it's remarkably gentle — often no more than light fingertip pressure. Pediatric care uses low-force techniques like SOT and cranial sacral fascial therapy, scaled completely to your child.

How much does it cost? Do you take insurance?

Your complete new-patient visit is a flat $120 (with a $60 deposit at booking that applies to it). We're a wellness-focused, cash-friendly practice with affordable family plans rather than insurance billing — and we bill auto insurance (PIP) directly for car-accident injuries.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what's going on and how long it's been going on. We don't sell prepaid mega-packages. After your exam we'll recommend an honest plan with a clear end-point, and revisit it together as you improve.

Do I need a referral?

No. Chiropractors are primary-contact providers in Virginia — you can book directly with us, no referral required.

I've never been adjusted. Will it hurt?

Most patients find the adjustment quick and relieving. We explain every step before it happens, and for sensitive patients there are very gentle, low-force options that work beautifully.

How do I book my first visit?

The easiest way is our online phone scheduler, or simply call (540) 362-3700 and our front desk will find you a time that works.
